State Side News-what’s new at the Brain Injury Association at State Level via Lindsay Meyers, Executive Director, Indianapolis, IN.
*December 2005 funding was granted for research to be done by Xytis, Inc. for clinical trails in brain injury. For more info go to www.biausa.org/indiana.
*June 2-4, 2006 was the 25th Annual Conference in Washington D.C. for Caregivers.
*September 21-22, 2006 is the upcoming 25th Annual State Brain Injury Conference in Indianapolis, IN. Registration has begun and forms can be downloaded off computer from www.biausa.org/indiana or a form can be received via mail from the office in Indy (address: Brain Injury Association of Indiana, 9531 Valparaiso Court-Suite A, Indianapolis, Indiana 46268.
*There is a position opening for Program Director to coordinate state-wide leadership & direction for development of services for traumatic brain injury in Indiana. Requirement: BA degree (4 year) and 2yrs. Minimum professional experience in the non-for-profit or brain injury field. Respond by June 30, 2006.

This will tell you in a very easy manner the latest who, what, when, & how that is going on in our government at it pertains to brain injury! Get involved via the internet with out leaving your home.
